Where am I, I don’t see any familiar streets
Have I taken a wrong turn? I thought this road would set me free
Free to embrace the birth of my new baby
But I’m stuck on the side of road, with nowhere to go – just maybe
I need to pray, for only God knows
In what direction I should proceed to go
I don’t understand, but there’s a vision I see
A blessing from the Lord, just for me!
When you are tossed and perplexed with doubts concerning where you are you must take painstaking steps to furnish yourselves and be constant in prayer with considerations proper to clear the matter. You must stand upon your watch against temptation to go back to your old ways of handling circumstances and situations. Old things are passed away and behold all things are become new. You must realize that even as you enter the road to destiny there is a continuous growth and maturing taking place. You must not give way to your doubts.
Stop! Don’t move! Don’t tell your remaining friends! Don’t call your old Waiting to Exhale sisters! Go into PMS mode! Quickly, go to the Word – Pray, Meditate and Study! See what the Lord has to say and allow Him to minister to you through the Word. By this time, if you were in the Hateraide [jealous, envious] crowd, you have made it through the DT stage of Hateraide recovery and the milk of the Word will be your sincere desire.
You have prepared for the birth. You are storing your oil. Yes, sisters, you are on the right road! Now, you must write the vision!

Remember, sisters, we can’t sit back saying "I’ve got to pray about it." After prayer, you need to acknowledge God’s command by taking action, again, leaning not to your own understanding, trusting God to direct your paths to destiny. Sometimes we sit back, sisters, and wait on God like He’s a magician to just magically make the oil appear in our lamps. If He has given you dreams of starting a business, the oil won’t magically appear in your lamp. If He has given you dreams of starting a CD project, the oil won’t magically appear in your lamp. If He has told you He is preparing you to be a wife, the oil won’t magically appear in your lamp. If He has promised you that you will birth children when the doctors have said no, the oil won’t magically appear in your lamp. If He has promised you that He will heal your marriage, the oil won’t magically appear in your lamp. Single sisters, check your oil! If your finances are in disarray, work to become a better steward. If your credit rating has taken a plunge, work to restore it. If your children are undisciplined, work with them to bring order to your house. If you’re still giving your body to several brothers, become celibate.
Store the oil for your lamp of dreams, visions and promises, so that w hen destiny comes you are ready.

Got To Tell It!
I Just Can’t Shut Up!
I just can’t shut up, I got to tell what’s inside
My hopes, my dreams, my visions – I just can’t hide
The new job, the new man, the plans me and my husband made
I’m just so excited, but it just may be delayed
Delayed because I just can’t shut up, I got to tell what’s inside
To all my girlfriends and family, it’s something I can’t hide
But can they really handle what the Lord is doing in my life
I have to accept it, telling them may cause me pain, jealousy and strife
So I’ll keep it to myself, just me and Jesus need to know
The blessings He has for me and how they will flow
There comes a time for isolation and a time to be quiet! It is in this time you need to understand that some sisters just won’t understand when you have a quiet season. Some of your sister friends just won’t understand when you have a season of isolation. I hear someone thinking right now: “What are you saying, throw my friends away?” No, my sister! What I am saying, however, is that we need to learn how to share, have conversation and fellowship. If you’re one of those sisters recovering from Hater aide, further recovery involves changing your conversation and sometimes your friends.

Prayer will create such a peace inside you that when you meditate on the Word, you will develop a craving to study the Word more. Milk will be your desire, and soon you will stop partaking from the bitter cups of Hateraide.

What's Love Got To do With It?
What's love got to do with all the resentment, bitterness and need for vengeance? We have really started to use the word "love" so casually that we really don’t realize what we’re saying . . . it’s as general as a "hello" or a "good-bye". But, to go a little deeper, it also is an indication that for some people in this world, "love" has been a negative experience, and negativity infiltrates the heart. There are some who have experienced love in the form of emotional abuse, domestic violence, sexual abuse. But remember, sisters, you are still royalty – Spiritual DIVAs!
Sometimes men and women extend what they call "love" with ill intentions. They will tell you they love you not because they have a heart for you, but because they have another agenda. After they accomplish whatever that agenda is, they don’t want anything to do with you. They’ve gotten your money, your time, your energy, your heart and even your body, all under the auspices of love, and it leaves you feeling rejected, hurt and abused with raging emotions of vengeance. Once our emotions take over, an island of retaliation lies in our hearts, causing a rippling effect in the waves of our mind which trickles down to streams of ungodly desires and events that catapult us into episodes of drama, in recompense for another’s actions or in validation of ourselves.
