"SISTER GIRL..."

PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW! First, and foremost, I would like to thank my Lord and Savior for this opportunity to share what He has given me; for opening doors in my life as well as closing some doors.

To my Mother, Wilhelmina Tolliver, and Father, Robert Tolliver, who have been supportive of me in every situation in my life, whether good or bad – thank you for pushing me forward and trying to block me from traveling onto some of life’s most hardest journeys even when I didn’t understand why. To my only Sister, Karen Adams, who has attended many events and activities on my behalf… “Thank you for sharing your time with me!� To my Son, LaMont Tolliver, who’s always said, “Go ahead, Mom!� “It’s okay, Mom!� Thank you, Son, for encouraging your Mother and being a blessing in my life and to my life. The Lord promised us that He would bless our seed, and I watch Him daily bestow the richest of His blessings upon you, but “The Best Is Yet to Come!� To my Brother, Harold Jones, thank you for your support – whenever I’ve asked you to be there on my behalf, you have and I love you for that! To Robert Kelley who has always listened at some of the most tremendous times in my life – thanks Rob!

I can’t forget the bridges that brought me over . . .

To Rev. Dr. Jim Holley, Pastor of The Historic Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church – thank you for giving me my foundations and teaching me the beginnings of structure and excellence in the Lord. To My Shepherd and Pastor, Dr. James L. Morman and Sister Loretta Morman of the Christian Tabernacle Church – Pastor, words cannot express the appreciation I have for your taking time out to allow the Lord to use you to mold me, shape me and shake me up with those much needed firesides. Sister Morman, thank you for teaching us the grace, style and class of a Proverbs 31 woman. As part of the Christian Tabernacle Church family, thank you both for sharing your Godly wisdom with us!

To the SISTAH Friends and Big Brothers in my life: Thresa Beard, Stephanie Smith, Rosemarie Wilson, Laura Porter, Valerie Butler, Minister Janice Felder, DeAngela Slaughter, Valerie Hillyer, Mark Reeves, Revy Rev. (Jesse Williams) and Pastor James “Buster� Jones (Williams Chapel Baptist Church) – each one of you have a special place in my heart. None of you may know, but at different times in my life the Lord has used each of you, in some way, to direct me.

Lastly, but certainly not least… to two special people who the Lord allowed to enter my life and stand with me in some very difficult times, teach me unconditional love, give me their Godly wisdom, as well as provide experiences and lessons of how to walk in faith: Elect Lady Buenita Z. Bishop and Christopher E. Embry. Thank you for the talks. Thank you for imparting your wisdom to me. Thank you for the experiences that have taught me how to love in a more perfect way. Thank you for speaking the Word into my life. Thank you for the lessons of how to build a stronger faith given as a result of your being in my life. Buenita, Love ya! and to you, Chris, This is From My Heart to Yours!
